Vikverir once again has the pleasure of inviting you to one of Scandinavia's largest training weekends for western/eastern style fighting and HEMA, the 9th - 11th of February.

Vinter is one of Scandinavias biggest training events for Western style, but also has a rising interest in HEMA and eastern style. Training during in daytime will be held in both open field and in forest. In the evening there will be practical and theoretical workshops by skilled and experienced people.


As earlier the event will be held at Tistedalshallen just outside Halden. We sleep, eat and train in the hall, and there are also changing rooms and showers. It is close to the Swedish border, and is easy accessible by car, plane and train. Are you coming from afar, we can provide spear shafts, shields and weapons. Let us know in advance


Breakfast and lunch is included, while dinner is easy to get on your own with grocery stores in the area and restaurants with takeaway.

** Travel information **
If you are coming from continental Europe ferry crossings and plane are the best ways to travel. There are ferrys to Oslo from both Copenhagen (17 hours) and Fredrikshavn (12 hours), as well as from Kiel (20 hours), and from Rostock to Trelleborg (6 hours). Travels by plane from various ariports in the northern continental Europe takes +/- 2 hours to Gardermoen, and then train to Halden.
